The Spokane County Bar Association is seeking a full-time Member Services Coordinator. This position is perfect for someone who wants to help grow nonprofit membership & events for the SCBA.

 

Position Summary

The Member Services Coordinator provides customer service and administrative duties in support of the public, membership, and staff.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the Executive & Assistant Directors
  • Provides exemplary customer service to all clients, attorneys, judges and partners
  • Assists with the annual membership drive
  • Prepare monthly invoices and logging of credit card payments and deposits in QuickBooks
  • Process security badge requests
  • Process Registered Paralegal applications and work with the Registered Paralegal Committee
  • Assists with the planning, organization and follow up for member’s social, educational and fundraising activities
  • Helps maintain SCBA web page, social media & AMS system through GrowthZone
  • Assists attorneys with document requests, printing or other administrative duties as needed
  • Research and deliver legal document requests
  • Prepares and sends out professional correspondence
  • Performs general clerical duties
  • Remains flexible to handle priorities as they arise

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • 2 years’ experience working in professional office environment required
  • Prior experience within a non-profit organization or legal office preferred
  • Ability to speak other languages a plus
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; QuickBooks and other standard office equipment.
  • AMS knowledge and skills
  • Web page and social media skills
