The Spokane County Bar Association (“SCBA”) serves solely as a distribution platform for job announcements submitted by external employers. Under RCW 49.58.110, a “posting” includes any solicitation for a specific available position, directly by an employer or indirectly through a third party. Employers submitting job postings for publication are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the statutory disclosure requirements under RCW 49.58.110, including wage or salary information, benefits, and other compensation. SCBA does not review, verify, or validate employer submitted content.
Any person may provide written notice to an employer alleging that posting is noncompliant. If the employer elects to cure, it must contact SCBA with a written demand to correct or remove the posting. Upon receipt of such a demand, SCBA will remove or correct the posting within five business days. SCBA disclaims responsibility for employer compliance with applicable law and assumes no liability arising from employer submitted content. Employers should consult legal counsel regarding their obligations under RCW 49.58.110.

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in delivering excellent service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in civil litigation support, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities

Draft legal documents, including pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests, and correspondence

Organize and maintain case files, both electronic and physical

Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness lists, and trial binders

Manage court filings and ensure compliance with deadlines
-
Conduct factual and legal research as needed

Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience preferred (insurance litigation a plus)

Familiarity with both superior and federal court rules a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal case management software

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Self-motivated and capable of managing competing priorities under a busy caseload
