The Spokane County Bar Association immediately seeks a qualified candidate to serve as ED/CEO for its Board of Trustees, VLP Board of Directors and staff. Primary responsibility for Board and community relations, implementation of missions, strategic plans and governing principles, plus overall fiscal, office and staff management for both the SCBA and its Volunteer Lawyers Program. Ideal candidate possesses a demonstrated commitment to the non-profit community including experience working with governing Boards, staff and volunteers.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or higher; excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication ability; fiscal management acuity including budgeting, grant management and reporting; working knowledge of Quickbooks or similar bookkeeping software; staff management; exceptional organizational abilities; effective decision-making ability; competency in Word, Excel, Adobe Pro Plus, Access, Outlook (email and master calendaring); be a flexible and creative thinker; demonstrated ability to work with a large variety of individuals and organizations; and ability to effectively delegate.

Preferences: Executive Director training certification or degree, or/prior work as Executive Director/CEO; prior service to law-related non-profit organization(s); experience with strategic planning; familiarity with online membership database and website management; marketing, particularly online advertising; membership engagement; prior event planning and execution; and familiarity with legal profession.
