Proposed Legal Technician Rule and Regulation - Comments Welcome The WSBA Board of Governors will likely consider the Legal Technician Rule and Regulation proposal at its meeting in September 2008, and it will then make recommendations to the Supreme Court. Photos - On January 13, 2008, the Spokane County Bar Association celebrated its 100th year as a corporation in the state of Washington and we will continue to celebrate it throughout the year. With the advent of our Centennial, the SCBA Board of Trustees assembled a Centennial Social Committee to organize events throughout the year to celebrate the centennial. Many of these events will be business/professional oriented and many of them will be family oriented. One of the ideas was to display photographs of members from older directories, called Who’s This. SCBA Online Lawyer Referral Service - The Board of Trustees of the Spokane County Bar Association is pleased to announce the creation of a new Online Lawyer Referral Service. The purpose of this service is to provide additional advertising opportunities for members of the Spokane County Bar Association while at the same time providing the residents of Spokane County with additional resources in finding an attorney who can help them with their legal matters. The SCBA Online Lawyer Referral Service is available to any member of the Spokane County Bar Association in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association who carries malpractice insurance coverage of minimums set by the SCBA.
