The Spokane County Bar Legal Placement Services, Inc.*, is a licensee of the Spokane County Bar Association. The SCBLPS, Inc.* operates a placement service to assist members in finding qualified full-time, part-time and "temp-to-hire" legal support staff.

A special service for Spokane County Bar Association members, this program is designed to match member attorneys or law firms with qualified, pre-screened and tested applicants to fill support staff positions.
As anyone who has ever attempted to fill a staff vacancy knows, the process of advertising the position, sorting through applications and interviewing candidates can consume an inordinate amount of time and effort. When you use the SCBLPS, Inc.*, all recruiting, screening, and testing has been done for you.

Full Time Positions - For every candidate, who is placed in a permanent full-time position, the member or law firm will pay a fee to the placement service of 7% of the employee’s first year’s annual salary.
Part Time Positions - For every candidate who is placed in a permanent part-time position, the member or law firm will pay a fee to the placement service of 5% of the employee’s first year's annual salary.
Temp-to-Hire Positions - The employer may hire an applicant on a temp-to-hire basis for up to three months. If the applicant is hired on this basis, a $50 per week or $200 per month fee is charged depending upon the length of the temporary placement. If after the expiration of the temporary placement period, employer elects to hire the applicant for a permanent position, the "temp-to-hire" fees shall be deducted from the amount due for a permanent or part-time placement fee based on the above schedule.
A $50 fee shall be paid along with each job order request. This is an administrative charge and will be deducted from the placement fee when the employee starts to work. If no placement is secured, the fee is non-refundable.
When a new employee terminates for any reason, your guarantee is as follows for both full and part-time positions.
Within 30 days = Full Refund
Within 60 days = 50% Refund
Within 90 days = 25% Refund
